Siddeley Specials Star at New Year's Day Rally

Southern Area members met up at Silvermere Golf Club for lunch on New Year's Day. It was a bright but cold morning, which helped to clear a few hangovers and wake up some sleepy-heads. It was good to see a scattering of our cars spread around the car park, so many people got to walk past one or two on the way to/from their own cars. 

With Mike Darley's 1935 Special parked up alongside Chris Warner's 1934 Special, there was inevitably a group of interested onlookers as we were about to set off home. Steve Jennings' 1947 Typhoon can be seen in the background among the other club cars present.
