North West Area Inaugural Run
Four Armstrongs ventured out for our first NW club run in many a year. We started on the Wirral and headed into North Wales to Llangollen for Sunday lunch and a catch up. Steven Dutton bravely came in his prewar car knowing she would be blowing steam over the hills, we decided to give him a ten minute head start and never saw him again until we arrived! I suspect the car runs better than he lets on! We had a lovely journey over the moors and Horseshoe Pass finally dropping down into Llangollen. Dinner was served after a little table alteration and enjoyed. We departed after a couple of hours and made our own way home. Hats off to Trevor Pointon for managing to coax his 346 not running at its best all the way from Lancashire.
The next run is on the 3rd of May and will be at Speke Hall, Merseyside. If you fancy venturing along we would love to see you.
