Stores Report – from the Chairman, Keith Dewhurst

The online shop https://stores.siddeley.org/ now has around 5000 items of stock listed from the approximately 7500 items on the new stock system. Not all have prices as yet and lots still need pictures. The remaining items should be added before too long.

Once all known stock is listed and fully described we then must start on the stock we know we have, but historically has never been listed on any system, both new old stock and used stock. Stores also have factory cross members to accept the larger mounting, so early models with smaller mountings could be upgraded with some work. On the more general front, due to a kind and very generous donor, we now have warehouse lighting. So we won’t need to use torches to find stock in winter! The stores team are very grateful for this.
